After developing \u0026amp; testing several versions over the past few years, we are proud to finally release the SFR Billet Case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eWith the extreme power levels of our 2000+whp OUTLAWD B-AWD drag car we had instances where even the super strong PPG 4-spd dog set would break the mainshaft and then subsequently blow the end off the case, ejecting the bearing and 5\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e gear handcuff spacer. The result was full shaft separation which blew the outer case completely apart and destroyed the entire transmission – gearset, shift forks, final drive, OEM and billet housings, and all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAfter installation of the SFR Billet Case Lock, when we had the same mainshaft failure occur again the outer case stayed intact which allowed us to replace the single failed component as opposed to having a destroyed transmission. Be aware of this if you choose to weld it.
